Le Weekend
On Saturday I had a lovely day (excluding visiting the evil supermarket [more on this later]) doing a volunteer wildflower survey for Plantlife at Basildon Park (see Facebook for pics). The flowers were amost all gone but I had a fun time trying to ID all the slightly brown and curling leaves that remained! I have a goodly list of species, although ( Read more... )

We often buy deals but only those we use/can store - tins, dried goods, loo roll... Very little food gets thrown away - although that may be because I have Mark ;)
Last think to go were pitta breads which went mouldy before their best before date :(
