Time to set myself some goals, to prevent regret at lack of achievement if nothing else!- Watch The White Queen on iplayer (as many episodes as possible!)
- Go swimming at least once, but preferably twice
- Bake something - either scones or biscuits (potential Christmas presents - need to practise!)

Important life update
I have bought a house! It is not where I started my search as it is a slightly downmarket town these days (it used to be a nice village!), but it has countryside almost on the doorstep and a short walk brings you to a chain of picturesque villages and some recommended country pubs. I wish to report a success!
It doesn't happen that often, and I am also acutely aware that I rarely blog so I decided to blog this.
I have successfully mended my woollen coat (which, as most of you will remember, was made for me by raygungothic). As well as sewing on an errant button (no prizes for that one), I re-inforced a stretched and wobbly button hole and cut off and re-hemmed a ( Read more... ) -

Seize the moment!
I'd best post while I'm having a positive moment!
I have now found a second website that suggests I (we) can borrow £220-230k and I have search for suitable properties in this price range (plus deposit) and quite a few turned up, many with nice large gardens and some even with garages! Woo!

Sustainable Living
My 'causes' have all got a bit confused in my head, resulting in very little being achieved, so I would like to summarize my aims for sustainable living (and I keep losing my hand-written notes!) here. Also multi-tasking while watching F1 (how ironic!).
