so today is my birthday. i've already contacted some of you about this, but my plans are in flux; liz may not be free this weekend, and i'm travelling to Miami for work next weekend, so i'm not sure when any festivities might take place. rest assured, all my valued minions, that you will be informed when i know what's going on

much thanks! i feel a bit old to just be begining grad studies, but maybe i need to get the craziness of youth out of my system before i got serious about academics. that is, if i have gotten that craziness out of my system... (which is doubtful)
