Open Letter Part 2

When I posted An Open Letter, it made the rounds on the internet. (I posted it at more than one blog and site.)
It created a great deal of conversation and in the course of that discussion I learned a great deal.

I'm worried for doctors this time as well. The community doctors in rural areas that provided abortions 'under the table' in safe medical environments. They were one of the worst and best kept secrets in some small towns. If a woman was pregnant and needed an abortion, she could get one. It was called a miscarriage, but the doctor assisted. I don't think that the hushed tolerance will be there this time.
