lol ::reads Lou's journal entry, then this:: Am I the only person who didn't think those episodes were THAT bad?? I thought neither was particularly startling but I thought they fitted into the bearable-category.

Although I have definitely disliked Cordy since... probably the end of Season 2 and the Pylea queen thing. Up until then, I still liked her... but since that, it's just been doooooownhill. Most of Season 2 worked for me cos I always enjoyed her banter with Wesley, but then that kinda fizzled out. I firmly believe it all started when she changed her hair!

Whoever's writing Angel needs to go back and watch seasons 1-3 of Buffy and season 1 of Angel to actually work out WHO Cordy is and realise they're writing her so badly. Sure she can "grow up" a little and not be the teen-queen bitca, but no-one wants THIS much of a new-improved Cordy.

I think I'm just extremely bitter today, but last nights Buffy wasn't that great.

I was drinking alchohol throughout both episodes so I cant say I had a clear view of whatever was going on anyway. ::realises this makes me sound a terrible alcholic::

I yearn for the old days of Without-Fail-Really-Good-Buffy episodes. It can be so hit and miss recently. Heaven forbid what an eighth year would bring - perhaps the fact that its ending is for the best.

I still have it in the back of mind maybe it'd have been better to end at the end of Season 5 and done a couple of TV movie specials from then on. There'd have been fan outrage, but at least it would have gone before the nosedive really started. And hey, Bad Willow and this The First battle would have made for great 2 hour TV Movies each, wouldnt they? They could tighten up the plot and writing so much to make two absolute stonkers.

we are of the same scary mind.
My theory on cordelia. she is a modern day sampson. her strength is in her hair.

A little clarification impatient2477 March 28 2003, 13:24:36 UTC
About Buffy and telepathy:

Buffy originally spoke to Willow. Since Willow is a witch, she could pick up on it, and reply. Notice that Buffy said to get Xander, as if she could not do it herself. Then, when they were in the other room, Willow acted as a sort of conduit to allow Buffy and Xander to converse with each other.

Not that I am making any excuses for the ep... Just trying to explain one part.
