Esme = I personally love Elizabeth Reaser, though I had never pegged her for Esme. She's a phenomenal actor, and I think will play the part amazingly. Plus, she's a very sweet person lol

Rosalie is one I am slightly against as well... she doesn't look Rosalie enough for me.... I will give her a chance but yeah..

peter is soooooooooooooo yummy granted he isn't what i pictured for Carlisle but he is eye candy and i am okay with it... heh

Alice I personallly LOVE who they picked she is very close to what i pictured... RLC is far toooo old to be Alice and not at all how i picture her

yes!! I have about 2 chapters left in Eclipse and then I have the torture of waiting until August with everyone else lol.

Yeah same. I'll give all the cast a chance, and just scowl about it later if I don't like it LOL. I think I expected the Cullen/Hale clan to be all fair-skinned people, but that is the gift of movie magic, my friend. lol

Yeah Peter isn't who I pictured as Carlisle at ALL either, but holy crap that man is beautiful. lol

Ditto on Alice! I never really "got" how RLC was the fan favorite. Aside from the fact that she hasn't done like...anything lately (not that that matters), but she just never "fit" for me, I dunno. I think the closest to the Alice in my head (before the girl they cast) was somebody like Alexis Bledel (not completely, as she'll always be Rory Gilmore to me) but someone like her.

Dont hurt me but I'm actually glad Nikki's gonna be in it....and I'm kinda actually happy to be seeing her in something. I"m sure she'll be more fair skinned. Makeup works wonders. But then I think I'm the only one that feels that way.

Meh, I dunno - she just doesn't strike me as the blonde haired, fair skinned Southern Belle Rosalie was, even before she was turned. I dunno, I'll give her a shot when it comes right down to it, but she's not the Rosalie from my head, or even close :\

I'm sort of shocked at the casting. Elizabeth Reaser is cute but not the "motherly" type Esme is. I pegged Esme as older, maybe mid-late 30's? This one feels off.

Ummm....yeah, just as creeped out about Alice. She is EXACTLY how I pictured Alice. That's a good one. I don't know that actress though.

Nikki Reed as Rosalie? Not buying it. I thought Rosalie was more eartheral than that. Nikki Reed just strikes me as very common. It's another odd one.

Ok, I LOVE Peter, but again, do NOT buy him as Carlisle. They needed to go half a generation higher for Carlisle.

Victoria: Umm...ehh. She fits, I guess. I sort of pictured a more stark red head though. Like Nicole Kidman or something. But I can buy it.
