On that note, we will be passing through your 'hood on the afternoon of July 27. Are you available for some hang time then?

I've found that text messeges are a great solution to that problem. It's like an IM over the phone. You can even text people from your IM if you want. I think you just have to put a "+" in front of their phone number.

I feel the same way sometimes- that I would be intruding into people's lives if I called them to ask if they wanted to do something. I've gotten over it (mostly). Just remember that people are friends with you for a reason, and they would be happy to hear from you.

Dude, I gave you my cell phone number! :-P

you are not alone with this feeling, lots of our friends suffer from phone anxiety. Not mel I love the phone. I love calling people. I just usually don't think to call people lately. And sometimes if I haven't heard from someone in a while I assume they are either busy or they don't like me anymore, so I don't bother to call them.

I do agree that texting is usually a good option (except for those who hate getting texts). You can call or text me anytime. If I am busy or if I don't feel like talking to you then I won't pick up so you don't have to feel awkward for interrupting me. :-)

P.S. I was totally home doing absolutely nothing Saturday night. all night. and all day sunday.

P.P.S. LJ was created for the melodramatic pity post. You should read some of my posts. I'm pretty pathetic
