I'm looking to relive my middle and high school days through the music I used to listen to. I want to put together a mix CD (or collection!) of the one-hit wonders that we all knew and actually liked - no "Barbie Girl" or "Macarena"! I keep adding to the list mentally, but I figured I'd start getting it down in text form for when the time comes. A

Here's a few that come to mind for me. Some of them may or may not be one hit wonders, depending on what radio stations you were listening to in the 90s. (For instance, WEQX picked up at least two other Soul Coughing soungs.) Also, some of the artists (like Self and The Jesus & Mary Chain) have extensive and excellent catalogs.

Hey, I like Barbie Girl too, and I have it on my computer. I'm just trying to keep this particular list out of the pop genre.

That was a great read. There needs to be more judges with good senses of humor out there.
