So my sister and I face-timed for one hour yesterday without fighting, yelling and talking over one another!  This is indeed a first.  I think we are both realizing the power of connection at this time!!!  We were both so well behaved I can hardly believe it!!! Lol

Wow. That's quite a change...I am hoping that many of the positive things that are coming from this horrible situation will continue after it's over. (My sister and I haven't been in any contact of for over two years and I haven't seen her in 10 years....I feel awful saying that the peace that came of this break has been wonderful but it has.)

It is quite a change and definitely a positive during this uncharted territory. My situation with my sister is totally different from yours, Donna, and if I were in your shoes, I would have done exactly the same as you did...and i can imagine how much peace it has brought to your life. Sometimes the only way to deal with certain people is not to have them in your life as it is just too stressful. You made a wise choice.

Thanks, Cindi...you are SO sweet. It may not sound like it, but I do appreciate my sister. We are total opposites, therefore sometimes hard to understand one another. We both know how to press each other’s buttons and have been known to do so but we neither of us did this while face-timing on Sunday. My husband is an only also. I so wish you had a sibling too...these are such strange times, I hope you are doing okay...I know it’s really difficult...if I could sleep at night I think I’d be doing better...I’m not aware of being highly anxious, but I know I am!
