Yesterday I was able to get two hoses out of the back yard (close by the house; anything further out has probably been mowed) and I salvaged three quick connect pieces from them. One of the hoses has lost part of its outer layer here and there but the other, longer one seems whole and can be used

That reminds me I need to buy door handles!

My Danish jam, marmalade etc. cook book says the trick to using blueberries in general is to combine them with ingredients that don't have too much flavour of their own. We also use blueberries in salads. :)

I wonder if that's why the first recipe I looked at used blueberries with peaches - to give the peaches more "pop".

I've had them in salads at craft night. Those other crafters are good in the kitchen. L once made an actual fruit tart(?) thing, flat, with a lot of variety on a home-made crust - it was so cool.
