I have to admit, I was prepared not to vote for either of the 2 major party candidates this year.  I thought voting for a third party candidate would be my protest vote regarding the fact that I dislike both of the nominees and want the party's to actually give us their best instead of these bozos.  I am fairly socially liberal, but fiscally ( Read more... )

I am fairly socially liberal, but fiscally conservative, and neither of these candidates does it for me.

Oh yay, nice to know I'm not alone in this position in lj/fandom-land.

I have to check out all the speeches so far. I have major problems with both major parties at this point (and their candidates), so I fear it's going to be another down-to-the-wire election for me debating who I should vote for. Sometimes I wish I could make that decision as easily as some folks do...

Sorry it took me so long to reply. :(

I usually vote for the fiscal conservative because I think you can't legislate a lot of the social changes, those need to come from the people. This year, though, neither of the candidates are fiscal conservatives, except Sarah Palin. That being said, I still don't know who I'm voting for.
