Aw, thank you for asking! She blocked up this morning and couldn't pass stool(had a purse-string stitch due to rectal anal prolapse). I have a consult with the surgeon tomorrow to see what kind of long-term treatment is warranted. :/ It's been a very stressful few days with her, and no sleep, so I'm hoping for her sake and mine that tomorrow will bring us some answers.

It gives them a way to feel better without helping, I think. They're being spiritual, and you know it's fine with me that they are. However, when a person has real, concrete, immediate needs it can feel a like a pat on the head.

Right now I am doing shipping and logistics + grunt-work sales for an importing firm. I really just want a job where it's me and the computer doing grunt work. I could use something mindless like site maintenance and spend some time updating my skill set - which is by now three+ years out of date.
