I'm sorry things have been so rough with the hypoT and the weight gain. I've am empathizing with you about the weight gain. I've been gaining steadily this past year on my meds and am very unhappy about it. It makes me feel horrible as well.

I'm happy to hear things with the boy are going well. Why do you have to discuss all the potential complications of hypoT that may or may not come to be?

It's good to hear hear from you again. It's been so long. *hugs*

Well we've got plans to live together maybe get married have four cats,a duck, and have children so if we've talked about that I figure it would be polite to tell him that maybe we will have to adopt which we have talked about and he's all for it.

Oh I'm really glad I got all my whining out I really needed it. Now that I look at it a few days later its not so bad I can deal with all this but the weight gain is still upsetting but we will get through this med weight gain :D We can do it!

Despite the unhappy news, it's really good to hear from you. I've been on a few medication-mediated weight roller coasters and it is surely NO FUN at all. It's like you're no longer in control of your body. For whatever it's worth, focusing on being strong and healthy rather than on a number is where it's at in my book.

Also, btw, my mother had (has) hypothyroidism that was/is treated by meds and she had no problem having "bbs". (Interestingly, she has multiple food allergies also.) So don't assume difficult conception will be a factor in your future with the boy. Having bbs is something we really have surprisingly little control over (contraception aside), anyway. I'm really glad to hear that things are going well between you the two of you. Hang in there!

Oh that gives me hope. I love hope. If we cant have bbs adoption would be awesome. Weight gain on meds is horrible and hard to control but on the bright side you get to control an illnes. Its really my fault for being so pig headed and not taking my meds so now I've learned my lesson and never want to miss a dose again :D

Happy Birthday!! Sorry to hear about the bad news but I hope you are feeling better. You are a strong person and I know you will prevail. Have you and the boy talked about it? As one of the commenters noted, all hope is not lost yet and with medical advances these days, there are other avenues including adoption. And almond milk is good! I like it and it's becoming increasingly less expensive. Despite the bad news, it's good to have heard about what's going on. Please update soon! *hugs*
