It has been arranged for Ricky and me to go to Boulder together this weekend. I’m going to show him the campus, in the hopes of him applying there but I doubt he’s going there. He has his heart set on UCLA or NYU

by the way, most people refer to it as "cu" rather than ucb.
mostly, i believe, to distinguish it from california, as "uc" usually means university of california, and ucb usually means u-cal-berkeley. just a helpful hint.
in any case, i see you've visited campus, and are pretty excited...
i'm happy for you- i love it here, and after my first visit i knew i wanted to come here.
i'm from your neck of the woods, i grew up near milwaukee.
boulder is a really unusual town, but a lot of fun, and the school is great.
and the view can't be beat. ;-)
my experience with the music dep't has been with the mens' choir...can't fit any other choir's in to an engineer's schedule. but it has been a positive experience, and a lot of fun.

i've got to get back to studying for my fluid mechanics final tomorrow...(last one! finally!)
