6 months, it feels like it has been years

It is six months since I had the life changing surgery of having my oesophagus removed due to having oesophageal cancer. It feels as if it has happened years ago. I have debated long and hard about the value of the surgery, but in the end of the day I was a stage 3 cancer patient and waiting for the BEAST to come back would not have been much fun
