I love this, Rich watching out for the boys, even if he gets off himself by watching, its ok. I really like it when someone mentions Rich and Earl other then just being a reminder for Ennis to be scared to death of loving Jack. When I read "Roots" by 271 Horses, I fell in love with Earl and Rich.

Just great! Rich becoming guardian for Ennis and Jack. Very nice scenario. I wonder where the old rancher got the idea that Ennis had a wife named Darlene, since he and Jack are headed home to their cow and calf operation after Jack being the one who was out of town for a week.
