If any of you are still reading this, you know that I haven't posted here in a long time--except perhaps reposts from my blogs,

I wish LJ was still busy enough to keep me away from Facebook, which I hate and despise. I beg to differ on the fitness issue. The kind of fitness GUIs, and particularly Facebook, require is manual dexterity and coordination, which I never had much of and age has withered and/or custom staled. It’s taken me a mere 70 years to realize that I have ADD (I had it before it was invented), and one aspect thereof that I have is dyspraxia.

I have no reason to doubt that you suffer from dyspraxia. However, you have managed to engage in apas, and continue to use LJ now. Certainly you have difficulties, but those difficulties do not rule out your participation--they merely require greater determination from you to participate. And there remains the potential for software changes to ease your difficulties (and yes, I know how tough it can be to get such changes made if you are not a programmer and can't effectuate them yourself).

Livejournal/dreamwidth have their virtues-- for me, the big deal is that things are relatively easy to find again. I try to remember to post things here that I don't want to lose.
Unfortunately, the fast response on facebook is a big hook for me.

You seem to use LJ for what I use blogs for. I can respect that.
I do not share your interest in Facebook, though. I've always thought the format there is ugly, and I *hate* having to check up regularly to avoid missing something; if I fail do, I never find it again. Fortunately, most of the posts I see on FB--even in the groups I like--aren't that intere4sting to me.

I came across a post of yours detailing some recipes from this book from several years.
My wife, who is known as Mistress Alheydis von Korchingen in the SCA is very much interested in purchasing this book, but has been unable to find a copy.
Might you be willing to sell your copy to her?
Thanks for your time,
