Nice ending, Cathy! I am amused at the idea of Snape and Fred Weasley working together on a long-term basis. But I guess Snape is a Slytherin, so he does, as you say, understand what is good for business.

My favorite little bit was Laetitia, she was sooo cute! Daddy's girl...

Thanks Zara. I found the idea of Snape and fred working together amusing too - the most unlikely partnership! I grew quite attached to Laetitia and she did make me laugh. Definitely Daddy's girl - can you imagine her bringing a boyfriend home? yikes! poor guy!

It seems to me that any boyfriend of Laetitia's would likely be a thick-skinned fellow, to have asked her out in the first place.

Yay!!! All of my nagging has paid off!
Really, Cathy, that was wonderful. I can't believe I didn't get to read it first. :grumble: I hate laundry, have I ever told you that?
I loved his little girl...and how, "Daddy doesn't like you," settles the topic for her. It was nice to see him take his children and swing them around, just being a father. And it was a nice touch that Ginny having twins, too. ;)
