Connor couldn’t stop shaking his head as his eyes welled up. The side of his tongue pressed against his teeth as if it had started to swell and blocked out any words he tried to say. His ears echoed the words for him, just to remind him of what he was losing.
I suspect that Becker is going to become a frequent visitor to the caravan considering how supportive he's been since the beginning. If I'm wrong then I trust that Connor will find the strength and courage to get to the bottom of this himself.

Thank you, I'm glad you think I captured that scene well. I think that he's not only losing his job, but he is losing his family too.
Well, I'm hoping Part 5 will be ready soon for you to read. I keep getting ahead of myself and wanting to write the ending! :-)
