At the moment it feels abit like two poems I think I try and fit too much in them. I have the images and sensations in my head but my vocab tends to let me down a bit..
I will let you know what the verdict is. I feel like I need few more poetic tools or something to allow me to express myself like this.
Touch is a strange thing, in our society, touching anyone other than your partner or family is pretty taboo, i guess. I think it's that victorian mindset at work, augmented by a general fear that other peoples touch is abuse of children, or a degrading intrusion for adults. In Japan, touch between adults is almost non existant, even in marriage, but touch for children by adults is always seen as affectionate without being creepy or sexual. On the other hand, in many parts of africa, one will be lead by the hand to a destination by a complete stranger, or in Saudi Arabia men hold hands as a sign of friendship (not that i'd actually like to try it for real in Saudi Arabia though...) I think we're just too afraid/suspicious of each other in the UK, we really could do with a bit more love.

I'm interested to see what changes you'd make, if any, after consulting your poet friend. :)
