What are top-offs?
Was the Toyota new? When I bought my Scion (a toyota), they throw in the first two oil changes for free. You sure they didn't give you that?
I've always been told the tire rotation should come every other oil change...though, that was for 3000 miles, so maybe it should be changed at 5000.

And hooray for connections at your job. I swear it's like the only way to find good jobs.

Top-offs are when they top off all your fluids.. windshield wiper fluid, transmission fluid (perhaps), they topped off the air pressure in my tires (actually they over-inflated them by 2 psi) and all those other things I don't want to deal with. Yes, the Toyota is new. If the first 2 oil changes were free, it doesn't matter because I bought it in Georgia and now I'm in Virginia. It's pretty much a dealer thing. And yes, it's tire rotations every 6,000 when you're on a 3,000 cycle. After going to Jiffy Lube, I found out they cost another $20, so I'm gonna wait a bit. Maybe until 6,000 miles.. haha. But my little service log that came with the car has it listed with the 5,000 mile maintenance.
