I love Doctor Who! I love Doctor Who! I love Doctor Who!!! I'm sooo glad I caught up with this. I hadn't enjoyed television like this for a while. Props to the writer and everyone who works in this show.

Predating Star Wars... Well, that's quite ambicious! But it is bloody close to succeeding, I'll say!

I SQUEED MY LITTLE SHIPPER HEART OUT over that kiss. Especially as Russell T Davies said there wouldn't be one. *sighs happily*

And I want a David Tennant-as-the-Tenth-Doctor icon. And a glowy one of Rose. And one of THAT kiss. *sighs again*

I'm going to watch it again as well. *g*

When you say... THAT kiss, you mean Doctor/Rose or Doctor/Jack? :p

There will be icons. I've downloaded a bunch of caps and I'll be working on them later. What a fantastic episode this was. But the whole season was brilliant. I loved how they mentioned Father's Day, too, and how that got Rose's mom to cooperate as well.

The Daleks first appeared in Doctor Who in 1963 so perhaps R2-D2 is a wannabe Dalek?! :)

But you're right, fantastic end to the series... and we haven't seen the last of Captain Jack.

Oh well, if you think of it that way, then yes... Now let's think how come the Daleks managed to survive through the decades when the highlight of their on-screen is to say "exterminate!". :p

Is Captain Jack also a character that has been seen before? He turned out to be a very cool character (I was afraid he was going to be another failure, like that geek they picked up and that later installed a chip on his brain, etc).

Admittedly, they've never been known for their social skills... still, that doesn't matter so much if you're a deadly killing machine!

Captain Jack hasn't appeared before..

It so rocked! Rose and Doctor kiss! Jack and Doctor kiss! What more would I ever want? And I thought David Tennant did quite well in his few seconds as well.

When Rose was all Tardis-like it was a little scary! And yay for her saving the world! Go Rose!

Yes, DT seemed quite charasmatic. I think he'll be good as the Doctor, although I admit I will miss Ecclestone. He was adorable!

And Rose did great too! Billie Pipper did a great job.
