Karen's wearing too much perfume. Every time she comes within ten feet of me, the stink of it overwhelms me.

I want to start packing for my trip to K.C. over Christmas.

I think I need to go on a road trip. Something to get out Denver. Something to let me have a reason to pack a suit case. I'm itching to travel.

It was so nice to get in my car last night after work and actually have it work. I went out to my car Tuesday night and was unable to get it started. I could not get the key in the ignition (that's not the only thing I'm having trouble getting in the hole - HA!). Anyway, the key would only go in half-way. I wish I were a king so I could have someone to entertain me all day.

The nice thing about having guy-friends is then you can get a guy's perspective. Unfortunately, unless they were there, their perspective is skewed by what you tell them, and it's hard to be totally honest about a situation when your hopes get in the way.

I overslept this morning. I'm not sure yet if it was by accident or on purpose. Maybe a little of both. Either way, I didn't get to work until 11am. And now, less than two hours after I got here, I am leaving for lunch with Jerrie, Karen and Phyllis (Jerrie's treat). I predict that this will be a very productive day. haha

I need to go grocery shopping. I have nothing in my apartment but bread (but nothing to put on it), less than a glass of wine (that's open), and pancake mix (but no spatula with which to flip the pancakes). Oh, and Tony Packo's Hot Dog Sauce which I'm saving for a special occasion (or until I learn how to use the George Foreman grill my dad loaned
