Bill Melendez, who provided the voice for Snoopy and was the only animator  that Charles Schultz let work with his Peanuts characters, died today at age 91.

I've never heard of Bill Melendez before, but he got to work with a wide variety of well known characters in addition to Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang.  I personally ( Read more... )

I always loved Charlie Brown cartoons.

Behind the scenes would be fun, I hate the idea of being in the public eye and under scrutiny.

I totally agree. Given a choice between being famous and living in obscurity, I'd rather no one knew who I was. It wouldn't matter as long as I was happy and doing something I enjoyed.
