Happy New Year, I wish you well however your search unfolds.

Being half gypsy I would hit the trail given the opportunity... I know what's here, but I haven't seen what's there yet. :)

and it might make a good picture!

Your happiness make me happy. Be well.

Thanks for the well wishes. (-: Hope you have a great year as well.

I can relate with what you're saying about the wanderlust. I've felt the gypsy urge to just pack up and go many times. But after having to constantly move around during 2004-2006, I'm actually enjoying being in one spot. And even though I've lived in the same city for 2 1/2 years, there is still so much in the area that I haven't seen yet that I wish to explore.

Of course, ask me in a year and my position will probably have changed. But I do feel relatively calm and centered so I know that any change I embark on will be to enrich my life rather than just jumping for the next thing simply because it's new and different.

I don't do resolutions either, and I don't really celebrate New Years, but there's something about this time of year that brings out the introspection.

To lighten it all up, I like hsifyppah's idea: retroactive resolutions - you can't go wrong; you can't fail.

This actually makes a lot of sense.

Seeing as how so many people kick themselves for not living up to their resolutions, I think it's a lot better to give yourself credit for what you've actually accomplished.
