That sort of relies on the windows being spotless, and being double glazed will mess up the image as well.
I *could* put it up in the loft and point it out of the little skylight (don't tell the council, it probably breaks umpteen health and safety regulations), but then I'd be restricted to a very tiny part of the sky.
What is this "Christmas" of which you speak? It's not even All Hallows yet...
I had assumed you'd be opening the window first... Although that'd lead to letting in cold air for a long period which wouldn't be a good idea this time of year.
