(no subject)
- 10 years ago (1995): I had just graduated from college, was performing manual labor in the woods every day, had no idea who I was or who I wanted to be, and was living in misery with Josh, his mother, his mother's boyfriend, and his brother. It was maybe the unhappiest I've been.
- 5 years ago (2000): I had managed to move down here and actually create a life, and had just started dating this guy that I was friends with. His name was Adam, and he had a dungeons and dragons character that was named elgweth.
- 1 year ago: Looked eerily similar to today, except I wore a green belt and didn't take a class.
- Tomorrow: I will work from home, study for my first test, and do Billy's Boot Camp (hopefully). EDIT: tomorrow is also elgweth's and my three year anniversary. Which I will celebrate by studying. sigh.
- 5 snacks I enjoy: pickles, chocolate lentils, doritos, cake, chips and homemade salsa
- 5 bands/artists that I know the lyrics to most of their songs: Guns n Roses (represent, Shel!), Def Leppard, Poison (rawk!), Allison Kraus, Jimmy Buffet. I understand that I am pathetic.
- 5 things I would do with a $100,000,000: Buy a house and a vacation house, invest it, pay off bills, travel, give lots of it away.
- 5 locations I would like to run away to: Hawaii (my default escape location; if I ever go missing like the runaway bride, I suggest you check there), Arizona, Italy, any tropical island, Costa Rica
- 5 bad habits I have: sleeping in, being late, finishing other people's sentences, biting my fingernails, overeating.
- 5 things I like doing: getting into a clean bed; sitting by a fire after a cold, hard day outside; a good, long meal with good friends; lighting candles pretty much anywhere; sitting outside 'in the gloaming' enjoying a cocktail and the end of a day.
- 5 things I will never wear: leather pants. Um, that's about it. I'm an adventurous dresser.
- 5 T.V. shows I like: Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scrubs, Lost, the Family Guy
- 5 people I'd like to meet: Mae West, Dorothy Parker, Jesus (heck yeah, wouldn't you like to see what all the fuss is about?), Einstein, Funikoshi or another pivotal karateka.
- 5 biggest joys at the moment: Billy's Boot Camp; my kitties; the comfortable yet stylin pants I'm currently wearing; melatonin; having the Tivo downstairs.
- 5 favorite toys: Tivo, my camelbak backpack, hiking shorts, the sewing machine I'm about to buy, remote controlled floor fan.
