They had a birthday party yesterday, and some crazy person decided there was too much frosting on the cake (blasphemy!), so they scraped an enormous pile of frosting over to the side of the cake board. The mayor of Detroit just announced that they will fly 500 families out of NOLA and provide them with food, housing and clothing. So proud.

Also, Adam and I are talking about opening up our spare room to a family that needs housing. Any thoughts on this?
