We had a party for four of the family yesterday, two of my sisters, a brother and a sister-in-law. The house was full of people (about 25 in all) and I thought the Fire Department would have to be called when all the candles were lighted. It was fun and everyone had a good time. It's gatherings like this that strengthen our family and we do it

I've always hated that this side of the family is so widely dispersed. I guess it's a Pline-thing to stretch one's legs, but growing up in the Williams side, i am so accustomed to all of the family being well within a 15-minute drive.

It kind of makes me sad.
