So - I'm definitely missing fest. Even if I have barely made an appearance since my lil lass made hers it's been enough to count and keep me going. Each progressive year hoping to be there more- desperately missing the camraderie ( Read more... )

House of Dragon's Airy - the blacksmith shop with the waterwheel where I typically did stone carving. IHEA is the non-profit group but HODA is the family. If that makes sense :)

Ok, I knew the IHEA, it seemed like it spun off from the SCA (or had a lot of crossover) after the SCA left Faire. It seems like there is a lot of backstory there... LOTS of backstories really, when you get to the different groups.

Some day, I WILL get to one or more of the IHEA BlackSmith classes, that's been on my to-do list for over half a decade now. 8-)
