Well, I learned that the the trick is definitely to go to Seneca when going to the C&O Canal. I mean as nice as Glen Echo, Great Falls and Swains Lock are nice, but there are so many people. You know? There's something about learning that public safety evacuated your dorm for an hour and forgot to tell your hall that's a bit unsettling. I mean the sleep was nice, but still exploding would not have been fun.

This year the Nobel Prize seems to be going to RNA. I find this interesting -- there's been so much work and understanding between the discovery of transcription and RNAi. The field has changed so much. I love how much the view of RNA has changed and will change.
