So my roommate, Freya, called her mom and explained Sassy's situation, and her mom agreed to meet Sassy, and possibly keep her. Elated, I called [name withheld] to give her the good news and to ask her to sequester Sassy so we can have them meet (Sassy likes to hide from strangers).
