I just heard about Martin's death. I'm stunned...shocked...I don't even think words can describe how I feel. We weren't terribly close, but I considered him a friend and I really respected his opinion and passion and talent. He was the kind of person who befriended you instantly, at least that's how he was with me. I really don't like this getting

Hehee! It's from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, which is both a play (originally) by Tom Stoppard and an incredible movie with Gary Oldman (*dreamy sigh*), Tim Roth, and Richard Dreyfuss. That particular line is Dreyfuss' character, the leader of a company of actors called simply "The Player," talking about what they do. :-)

I think everyone is still in shock. I didn't even know him that well, and hadn't talked to him in years, but he was at my wedding. His presence will be missed by so many. I didn't agree with many of his views, but I definitely respected his voracity.

Congratulations to you and Nassir on your new wee one, I'm so happy and excited for you! The circle of life continues. I know the nervousness you feel... and I hope you can find some peace over the next few weeks.
