I'll never forget the time we proved our love for each other under the sultry planetarium skies. It's all the more memorable because it was so sudden and, for me, unexpected. One minute I was at the controls, lecturing to the school children about the night sky, and the next minute your hand had crept out of the darkness to rest on the small of my back. I was just barely able to initialize a pre-recorded show to fill the rest of the time, before our hunger for each other got the better of us.

I will always have fond memories of the night you and I hung out in that bar and did Karaoke broadway songs on top of the piano and those drunk guys in the corner kept screaming, "Take it off!" until security threw them out. Ah, good times.

Do you remember that time I visited the USA and you so kindly took time off work and brought me to the hog calling contest at the Illinois State Fair - we had such fun. I won the international event - think my green Ireland rugby jersey helped!
