MY EVERY WISH AND DREAM, YOU HAVE SHOWN ME IT.

Um, in a more articulate vein, I simply adore the way you've put them all together- and yes, with a little time and conversation, this is exactly what they'd come up with ! The companions are brilliant and wonderful and Journey's End left me feeling a bit cheated in their interactions.

I'm thrilled to see what you have in store for them next.

If I can bring one person 10% of the pleasure your gorgeous 10.2/R fic has given me this week, I'll be very very happy.

Synopses etc are a minefield right now, aren't they?

And just like that, you made my day. <3

Oh, heck yes. Trying to figure out what to say, what not to say, how to explain which Doctor is which, etc. Vague but not too vague. Yeesh. It'll be easier in a couple weeks, I suppose.

hee! Love it. This is totally how it should have gone down. Especially with the TARDIS stealing. I can just imagine the look on his face.

And not to nitpick, but I wanted to point out...after the last ep of Torchwood Jack's actually over a thousand years old now. Can't remember exactly how old though.

Oh dear, I suppose I should accept that as canon, but it's hard, isn't it? I really wish that finale hadn't happened. TW2, that is.

I've accepted that part of the TW2 finale as he was dead for 2000 years because there wasn't enough air to revive, so he's still 140-160.

Unfortunately, the rest of the finale is a bit more difficult to handwave away..

Actually, ignoring that "buried for 1900 years", he'd be in his 170's. He arrived back in 1869 (139 years ago), but he was already in his 30's at that time.

I'm so glad that people like you write this stuff so that I don't have to! (Seriously, I can't write. It'd be horrible.)

They know him so well.

“What goes around tends to come around,” he said.
It certainly does. It'll be nice to see the Doctor's family manipulating his life instead of the other way around.

When I was watching JE I really wanted to slap the Doctor when he was going on about how all of his friends "have somebody else". (I would have given him a hug after I slapped him, though, because he needs hugs.) A family can be as big as it needs to be and that's just an excuse because he thinks he doesn't deserve to be happy.

I'm definitely looking forward to the rest!

Yes. Emo Doctor - it's become too much of a habit now. I'm sure this lot will find some kind of solution.
