Seriously, that was bravura stuff - how on earth d'you keep track of them all? I'm going to have to read it two or three times more to make sure I've got all the voices straight.
Nine really nails Ten, doesn't he? "Who d'you think you are, Hamlet?" was genius. I laughed out loud at Okay, so his ninth self was about to punch him. Well, that did tend to focus the mind. I can just see CE landing a right hook on DT...
Aw, it was a challenge all right. I know how Rusty feels now, trying to do right by the hardcore fans without making it incomprehensible to the new ones. At first, it was just 10.5 and Donna but then Nine poked his nose in and I thought, oh all right, let's give it a whirl.
I found the Doctor quotes on Wiki very useful! Particularly for 6, 7 and 8, the ones I never really watched.
Awesome!! LOL!! Lots of craziness going on in the Doctor's mind. Love the Nine parts and the mention of Hamlet. Hehe even Eleven had to insert himself in some way.
Aww!! Ten/Rose is so cute. And Ten finally said what he needed to say to Rose.
Wow. That conversation between all the different Doctors -- very cool. I didn't understand all of it but I found it very entertaining!
Who d’you think you are, Hamlet? -- *snorts*
“I’ll tell him to shut up. It’s just, he’s new, and I suppose he feels he couldn’t get a word in edgeways.” -- Aww, poor Eleven, and his silly "Geronimo"s. :)
That was awesome. Don't keep us waiting so long for the next chapter!!
BTW, how's your Doctor Who grief coming along? Last you mentioned you were in the anger phase....... but from this fic, it seems like maybe you've reached acceptance?
I still go back and forth on it. Between wanting to wring Rusty's neck and rejoicing that we still have a potential Tenth Doctor out there somewhere. I haven't managed to watch EoT again, have you?
I watched it for the first time on Youtube, so I did watch it a second time after it aired on BBC America. You know, so I could watch it on a normal size screen. And then I went back and rewatched the Matt Smith part a couple of times. But since then, I haven't rewatched it, no.
Ten II is my main consolation. And I am relieved to find that I have some hope for Eleven.
The Doctor still has a lot to learn, and a lot of bad habits to give up. And he's certainly not reconciled to his situation. But he has his love, and 12 fantastic advisers.
