Write a journal entry for this meme with six random facts about yourself. Then pick six people off your friend list and tag them - no tag backs. These rules should be included in your entry.
The same thing happened to me with the usernames. I asked but I haven't gotten any answers, so... no help from me, lol.
I was once ambitious, but it decreases the older I get, and I've never been agressive, so I know how you feel on those two. Hmm, I've never thought about people watching me eat, but I can't stand people looking over my shoulder when I'm on the computer, even when I'm not reading slash! :)
I find that reading slash is a good way to get my brother away from me if he's hovering when I'm on the computer. I've tried to tell him about RPS and ALG but he's all "God, don't talk about it, I don't want to know...".
I mean, you'd think he'd be interested in slash as a cultural phenomenon, or as an insight into women's psyches, but nooo... He displays no curiosity at all!
Hey Janet, you asked on my page if it was okay to friend me, and OF COARSE! I love to meet new people all the time, and am not a fan of what I've heard called 'friending elitism' or something. You friend me, I'll friend you back, no matter what. Nice to meet you! Elle
PS-I totally get the eating thing. I had braces, and now I constantly cover my mouth with my hand when I have to eat around other people. Weird, but when you used to get large chunks of food stuck in your braces that you had to rather unattractively dislodge, it kinda makes you paranoid.
*hugs you* I feel you pain over the braces thing. I didn't have them myself but there were plenty of other things about my looks that I didn't like when I was younger, so I know how it is to feel oversensitive about being watched.
Actually my teeth are kinda small. When she wanted to annoy me, my sister used to say that they looked like baby teeth.
I can totally see myself in your first three points (with the exception that I love tomatoes as well ;)
Part of feeling so uncomfortable when people watch me eat is that I used to have braces, too. I even still feel insecure showing my teeth laughing sometimes because I was so insecure about my braces back then (although my teeth are even now).
And it must really hurt to give up your dream like you did it. One of my passions is drawing but I didn't even try to make this my job in the first place.
I am so envious of your ability to draw, I would LOVE to have that skill!
If I had the talent, I would draw people in pencil or charcoal. I think a really fine portrait, which captures the spirit of the subject, is the most beautiful thing in art.

As you can probably guess, I am one of the writers of Silenus. Please feel free to add this journal to your friends' list. I don't bite hard. :)
