why do companies make life so difficult

I feel that I have to enshrine this tussle in my journal somehow so that I can come back to it in later days to admire my self-control.

T-Mobile is fucking useless. I could say more, but I'll leave it at that and let the below explain why ( Read more... )

I mean, it's one thing to be friendly, but I was so pissed off at that point I just wanted to get the thing settled and it was like, WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT YOUR MIDDLE NAME?! CAN YOU GET DOWN TO BUSINESS?

At least my cellphone is back up and running now, so you can text/call me again!

... Welcome! to... American I-don't-give-a-crap service. I'm so sorry you had to go through that shit 8|

The customer service operator if they have an accent is usually, if not always, Indian. Unless you're calling a medical office, then they are usually Hispanic.

And... I understand your pain. My parents can't speak English v well, so I end up talking to the reps for them, and there are a billion "security" things to go through before I can get things done, which is all good and well, but it's tedious and they aren't very efficient during and/or after either.

I feel I should mention, T-Mobile is one of the worst providers I've ever had the misfortune of coming across. If you can, I would suggest ditching them completely. However, they do happen to be one of the more affordable, so I can't offer any cheap alternatives.

If you want my advice (you may not, but just in case), in my experience, Verizon has the most reliable network (least tangible problems; customer service is usually average--I haven't had any difficult problems yet ( ... )

I'm really really sorry...it seems like you got the true American customer service experience XD I feel bad laughing but your entry was really funny..just. Wow. At least CSO #5 was....friendly? Seriously. And it's pretty typical to way around an hour when you call one of these customer service numbers. We moved over the summer and I had to call to change the service for our phone, cable&internet, and electricity and that...just took hours and hours where most of the time was spent listening to music/automated recordings.

Please don't think too badly of this country because of this experience! Blame the system where companies don't give jack shit about customers and concentrate on just profits....

I think it's kind of insane that I'm saying this, but it was actually a pleasure to talk to Citibank and DBS CSOs after the fiasco with T-Mobile. Now you know how bad it was :|

Oh yeah, my situation: it finally got cleaned up and I have my cellphone coverage again, but I didn't manage to activate EasyPay. I can do it online, though. Anything to avoid having to talk to T-Mobile again, ever.

I really wish I could T__T

I called them again today to ask about international calling because the website wasn't working for me and I had to call twice to get through. And then I didn't want to sign up for it anymore because it was expensive, and the woman kept pushing and pushing at me to buy it until I just hung up.
