I found it was cheaper to bring back a huge extra suitcase of stuff than to post it back. Was about £42 with Virgin. And get a cheap bag.
Posting little A4-size boxes cost about £50 each -- not worth it.

AND -- glad you're OK after nasty head incident on plane.
