No, I'm with you.

It's so great to actually see him have more than four lines and five minutes of screen time. He looked great and soooo dreamy.

I can't wait to see the DVD when you put it together.

I totally agree. I keep thinking of him all the time after the first time I saw it. In anticipation of the second. I already have it on order for birthday Nov28 or Christmas so I can obsess at home.

cats if you ever make a disc of every single Snape moment then *hubba hubba*

I concur. Work has been very difficult to concentrate on this past week. Billowing capes have been clouding my thoughts.

In so many movies sexiness is all heavy breathing and getting naked and explicit. Yet here we have mouth drying sexiness buttoned up to the throat and all he does is talk and walk.
And it is not just hardened AR fans, even the unconverted feel the impact!
Dream on I say, and enjoy!

When you think about it, it's quite amazing that a character can mean so much to so many people.

You are right. Snape has a very strong impact. Both in the movies but also in the books. The appeal is very broad, from kids to women of *cough* a certain age. I suppose the combination of a powerful character and a skilled and talented actor has got to be intense.

I have been having the very same thoughts all week. I even went back again on Thursday to see it again and further analyze the Snape scenes. Its funny, but in both viewings the biggest moment for me was after Snape put his finger to his lips to hush Harry and then he walked onto the Astronomy Tower. The way he slowly, and ominously entered the scene and the way the music slowed made my breath hitch both times. And after he did the deed both times my exact thoughts..as corny as it sounds, were "Oh God, Severus." I felt so bad for him. Honestly, during the scene where they all raised their wands I mourned more for Snape's sealed fate than Dumbledore. And of course there's the sexiness factor which can't be ignored. I also think that it seemed that Alan was more aware in this movie of how audiences had enjoyed his little dramatic pauses and tendencies. It seems like he ( or the director or someone) purposely played this up a lot. For instance there seemed to be a lot more billowing and then there was, "You just.....knew." haha And don't ( ... )

I wish I had been paying more attention during the tower scene, but I was so worked up I think I really had a hard time concentrating on specifics or focusing. It just seemed to go SO fast to me. I recall it only in snippets - Snape's fingers to his lips, then the Avada Kedavra, then Dumbledore falling...

I definitely need to go back and see this again ASAP.

It just really struck me as poignant when Snape entered the tower scene and the music hit that last dramatic note. Im sure Im making too much of that though haha. I'll be going to see it again at the IMAX, though I'm now fearful of not seeing any Snape in 3D but nevertheless it must be done. :)
