Rumor has it that the organization running it is rather inept in terms of marketing savvy, so it's probably doubtful it will be available for purchase. But I think a number of people have told them that fans would want to buy it.

I think they all did it for the theatre - Ian McKellan, Joe Fiennes and many others . You might remember there is a photo somewhere of Alan Ian M and others looking bored on an open stage in 1989 whilst Timothy Dalton gives a speech. In fact if you look at the first two seconds on THIS video you can just spot Alan in the background.

Thank you!!! Isn't it amazing what a huge effect he achieves by his contrary-to-what-is-expected use of voice? No fierce exclamations ... calm and utterly demented. Freeze, audience... or melt, whatever. *LOL*
