This just in: I NEED TO STOP JOKING ABOUT AUTHORS GETTING A LITTLE OLD.

In your defense, Anne McCaffery lived to a good age and it's not that surprising that she passed. I'd be more concerned if everyone you talked about who then died was in their 30's or something, so I think you're safe. :D
...might want to avoid talking about Stan Lee for a while, though, if it concerns you. (What am I saying? That man will outlive us all!)

Rest in Peace Ms. McCaffery. I was never as big a fan of yours as my user name might suggest, but you did a lot for fantasy and for women writers and I salute you!

We lost Brian Jacques just as I was reading his latest book. Things are scary that way.
