Nathalia Edenmont kills cats, mice, doves, rabbits, and other animals; mutilates their bodies; then photographs them. Her work is currently on exhibit at the Wetterling Gallery in Sweden--among other places. Edenmont has turned mouse heads into finger puppets. Even if the animals were killed "humanely" as some of the web sites (such accurate sources, oh my), claim, I'm deeply disturbed by the content of these pieces.

ummm there is no such thing as dying "humanely" for an animal. They are not human and have no say in the matter.

According to Merriam Webster, humane refers to humans or animals. Hence, it's my take that animals can indeed die humanely. Euthenasia is m example. If death ends suffering (which animals also don't understand), then that death is indeed humane.

though thats totally fucked up and i strongly disagree with this bitch and her art i wouldnt say that it isnt art. art is just like the rest of life, some of it is fucked up. i figure if she calls it art it is. that is fucked up though. i dont have time now, but i will most likely sign the petition when i get a chance to read it.
