1.) The entire royal pavilion cheering for me as Drake made me a member of the sea dogs.
2.) Yelling "A night with the sea dogs wouldn't do us any harm" with Izzy, Bess, and Catherine (ladies all)...I still think it should have been " Well a night upon a sea dog wouldn't do me any harm"...but you know I'm just CRAZYEE like dat.
3.) Being told I ( Read more... )

It was different on every level than I expected. Chuck is soooo smug right about now...lol. He kept telling me if I could fight past the bugs and heat and being outside I would love it (over and over). So, he is mighty pleased with himself.

I am proud of you for facing your demons and making strides in your own strength. Just the little I've gotten to know you makes me want to know you better so I'll look forward to those opportunities!

One of *my* favorite things about this faire was watching many people come out of their shells and play. You were one, my husband was another. It was pure magic. *hugs*

You are DEFINITELY accepted in the fold, my dear; just try to escape! *bwahahahaha* Oh wait...

It's amazing to see someone getting over fears and opening up...you should've seen me when I started doing faires 30 years ago; think 'repressed conservative fraidy-cat'! Believe it or not; it's true.

You are lovely and very easy to love. One of my favorite memories was watching the lovely smile as Roger 'pinned' you and hearing Izzy say, "Oh my goodness, catch a picture of that smile!" I hope he did 'cause it was brilliant.

Welcome to the family, my dear!

I would love to see what that looked like...it was a seriously great moment for me.
Being raised the way I was I am soooo not good at change. And I tend to be a bit retesent to try anything new. It's very hard for me.
And, I'm also getting used to hugging and being around affectionate people...Rennie's tend to be especially affectionate, and it's very nice. I think I could get used to this.

Yes, we are VERY huggy and affectionate people but at the same time, it's perfectly ok to say to someone, "take it easy, I'm not quite there yet" and they'll understand, believe me.
