So, spent the fourth watching fireworks from the roof of a 14 story building. (The building has a title, but I can't remember it. I wanted to change it to Kyro's LoveBoat in the Sky, but that met with some opposition.) The view would've been to die for, except for all the tall people standing in front of me. That'd be neat! Of course, I have no idea when the next time I'll be able to go is, since I 'm adopting the 8-5 schedule of "normal" people, and because finances are tough... Don't expect it to be soon, but I'll let you know when it happens!

Yeah. I'm sure it'll be fine. To be honest, I'm more worried about timing the drive than anything else.... i haven't been involved in rush hour traffic in like six years. I have no idea what to expect, and can only hope I'm not late.... I'm sposed to take 25 to 36 to Interlocken, and be there by 8... I've heard that's a terrible time to make that drive, so I'm searching for alternate routes....
As far as the job goes, I'm totally unworried.. I know I'll do well. I just know it's only a temp job.. I'm taking the place of a woman who's on maternity leave, so the only way I'll have a continuing position is if I either get her fired, or get someone else fired... And I don't wanna be jobless again. Either way, it's good pay for the meantime, so I'm sure everything will work out just fine...

Paulette said that she loved working as a temp. She got a lot of offers, since it was a few years ago and things were better in the work force, but I can see her point. And I really think that you would do really well staying in temp work for a while. Then you won't have the pressure, and you can get a break from the corporate bullshit.

Yeah, and I get a week off every now and then... I think I'll stick with it for a bit.
