Finding wisdom while waiting for the plumber.....

So lately I've been doing this thing that strangely seems to be helping. When I start into a negative self talk thing, I name the emotion that has caused it. Usually it's something like 'I'm uncomfortable'. That seems to be the one that I can identify and name pretty regularly. But it can also be anxiety or fear ( Read more... )

That's what they say in Buddhist teachings all the time, "Just notice it and note it." Works wonders.
