Great story. Loved the insight that Neal had about Peter.

It was so sad to see that Neal believed his only way to freedom was to have Peter shoot him. Even thought Neal explained why, you know it will still haunt Peter.
And Neal knows too. Actually, he is more concerned about how much it would hurt Peter than himself or if he could die... until it actually hurts, of course.
I guess playing with POV are my trademark. At least I know that writing from the "inside" of the characters is more fun to me that just telling a story.
I'm a H/C junkie too. It's actually hard to do h/c with Neal without pampering him too much, I still feel that I'm failing to show how though he really.
Personally, if I'm going to write ff I do it because I love the show and how is already written and I try to keep it as canon as possible. Otherwise I just write original pieces.
