This is my very first attempt at soap making. And there's a lot of it. Now, given that I need to get started on attempting to make my own shampoo right away*, I need to find homes for most of this batch.
They're both hand-milled rather that cold-processed soaps, so they're not top of the range, but they're not bad either.
The white one of the left is a peppermint soap with added coconut oil, so it'll be nice and moisturising. (Yes those are peppermint leaves you see speckled in it).
The honey coloured one on the right, is, unsurprisingly, a honey and almond soap bar, with added beeswax, producing a hard soap, that's very good for cleaing general dirt from say, gardening for example.
So they're all cured and ready to go. Please leave a comment if you want any!
Remaining soap:
Peppermint bar - 4
Honey and almond - 1
*I have sensitive skin, even on my bloody scalp. This means that every single bloody comercial shampoo is chemical enough to irritate me. I thought I'd finally clicked on one that worked, but the warning signs have started, so I've got maybe max two months before the itching becomes unbearable. So I'm going to make a last ditch attempt to have a shampoo that works.
