I in general have wierd reactions to movies. I assert it to becoming too emotionally invested within the plot and subsequent characters, trying to identify with each of them in different ways. The worst feeling I've had after a draining movie was Eternal Sunshine and the Spotless Mind. I put myself in both the characters shoes and thought about how much they loved one another, and then how much I loved Jason, and couldn't bring myself to understand or even accept why even after something horrific happened I/they would want to erase all the wonderful memories of love and fun with that person. I hurt me deep inside and I just really can't explain. It was an awesome movie, but I wished that I never watched it in the first place.

Being the sick-o that I am, I am curious about this Closer movie and will probably force myself to watch it at some point.

I also react strongly to movies but never in this way.
I usually love movies that make me feel. Even pain. I'm kind of the sado-masochistic in this way.
I was very sad about Eternal Sunshine too, it certainly left me thinking about it for days. I found it beautiful though. The way that they tried to erase each other but were so soulfully connected that no matter what extremes they went to it wasn't going to happen.
But THIS movie totally disgusted me. I probably could've puked (esp after reading your Wendy's entry ;) )

I understand what you mean by being curious because of my entry. HA! I know if I read this and hadn't seen it, I would definitely put it on my "to see" list. I would like to know if anyone else would even notice all the shit that made me sick. I'm sure some would think I need to lighten up. heeheehee.
Oh well, there's some things I don't want anything to do with and being controlled, abused or lost are on the top of that list.
Been there, done that.
