While I lived in Louisville, my neighbors were a couple who both have disabilities. Fred had juvenile RA and it resulted in, among other things, his having to use a manual wheelchair. Kathy is blind and travels with a guide dog. When her dogs retire from guide work because of health or age, they are kept as pets. Fred is a dog lover and so he takes ( Read more... )

Haha, that's great. I particularly loved how you'd also taught Perrine the bad habit of getting on the furniture!

Belief is indeed a very powerful thing. Turning a black dog yellow and causing fatty tumors to disappear prove its power. Personally, I must admit to liking the idea of debating with Fred, but perhaps not when he knows he's right.
